PARTNERSHIPS AND NETWORKS GRANT PROGRAM
WOMEN BUSINESS NETWORK PROJECT
The Women Business Network W-BUN Project, which is co-ordinated by KAGIDER (The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey) and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and which includes the partners of KAISDER (Women Employers and Industrialists’ Association) and BUIKAD, aims to enable women to reach relevant information and access to business markets. The Project aims to submit proposals for a bill to be negotiated with the public sector, and to enable the participating NGOs and women of the Women Business Network to get services and counselling, and to expand the capacities of other organizations available on a national and international scale.
The proposed actions of the Project are to support the development of civil society, which will contribute to the global goal of the Partnerships and Networks Grant Program, through more active democratic participation in policy and decision making processes. The project will attempt to submit proposals for a bill to be negotiated with the public sector through the network to be created. It will enhance the capacities of NGOs, communication between them and strengthen cooperation between the public sector and NGOs. The participating NGOs of the Women Business Network will be focal points for women to get services and counselling and to express their ideas that can be directed at a national scale to create a wider audience. It will be a network that will improve the capacities of other organizations available on a national and international scale.
